Become a calm, confident and caring leader

I’ll help you lead in a way where your actions reflect your values, so you can have your best impact on your students and the world.

Facilitate new thinking to cause positive change

I will use 1:1 and group coaching, plus facilitated workshops on leadership theory and practice to leave you feeling more confident to develop strong bonds of trust and commitment within and across your organisation's teams. You will grow your ability and confidence to hold your team accountable for results while maintaining your mana, respect and integrity as a truly authentic, transformative leader.

I hold an Executive and Organisational Coaching Certificate and have ACC Accreditation through the International Coaching Federation.

A cheerleader for your professional and personal growth

If you want to bring out the best in your team and connect them over a shared purpose.

If you aspire to make the most out of every opportunity and challenge.

If you desire culturally responsive spaces where everyone belongs and has a role to play.

I’d love to cheer you on

Lead with mana and expertise

Watch as behaviour and achievement improves, transitions between teachers and year groups feel smooth, the culture is cohesive and clear, everyone feels like they matter and can contribute.

Strategic thinking led by your values and a shared purpose will become the norm.

I want that for you and your school

Be a culturally responsive leader

I coach principals and other leaders with diverse backgrounds.

I bring a deep respect for indigenous approaches including integrating te reo, tikanga and mātauranga Māori in an authentic way.

Hear from the leaders I coach

  • “I love how I've worked with her for such a long time. I feel safe to share and not be judged and she's supportive. She is agentic in her positioning but also uses a coaching model that holds you accountable. I think that that's core to getting the most out of sessions. She takes me how I'm landing that day. She gets you. I always come out feeling lighter, but also that I've got something, and it's that trust. And you can have a laugh too. Becc is really open-minded and not judgemental. That's so valuable for anyone that's starting to step into this world, especially when you are Māori or Pacific Islander. It's great to see someone with an understanding and appreciation of culture and diversity. I think she’s fabulous.”

Frequently Asked Questions

Can you coach me?

I have decades of experience coaching principals and senior leaders, across-school leadership teams, middle and team leaders, professional learning lead teams, literacy and curriculum leaders, and I can facilitate spiral of inquiry work for your wider school.

Where will the coaching take place?

I am based in Halswell, Ōtautahi Christchurch, but I coach people across Aotearoa and internationally, both in-person or remotely.

If done remotely, we will still develop a close and successful coaching relationship over the screen. The most important thing is to create an environment where you can be honest.

You might want to work from home for our sessions or have a dedicated space where you know there won't be any interruptions.

I want to feel part of a national and international community so I’m confident my leadership is best practice, not just locally but around the world. How can you support me in this vision?

I will happily connect you with international resources and approaches so you can feel confident you’re doing your bit to inspire the next generation of globally minded citizens. I will encourage you and your team to attend international conferences and symposiums and, where appropriate, I can personally introduce you to international experts in my network.
